Joy.
im interested in cuddly therapeutic objects so my first step is to sew some. this pattern is from a maker in ireland. next i would love to put a water bottle in it for weight, motion, and heat. but i might start with a little rice. we’ll see. first step. learn by doing. #craeft
grief therapy - we said goodbye to our sweet little Sunny on Friday. 18 1/2 long & wonderful years. I’m working on a plush toy to channel some of my caregiving energy plus I can give it a cuddle when its done. i asked my partner to try out v1 yesterday but he handed it back to me and said, “I cant yet. its too painful.” oh grief. what a thing.

When I was a kid my neighbor had this collection of little mouse dolls with matchbox beds. So cute. Here I am 400 years later making little beds for soothing eye pillows. Totally normal, right?
