Self Awareness of Patterns

Be proud of yourself when you see a negative pattern you’ve fallen into and you do what it takes to make an adjustment. That moment of recognition, that willingness to try something different—you’re already shifting things just by seeing clearly.

Be patient with yourself when you see a pattern and you don’t know what to do about it. The seeing itself matters. You’re building awareness, and the next step will come when you’re ready for it.

Be compassionate with yourself when you don’t yet see the pattern and it just feels like tension or pain that seems caused by others, but it isn’t. Your body knows something is off even when your mind hasn’t caught up. Trust that discomfort—it’s pointing you somewhere.

Be loving of the people around you who like your good parts as well as your not-so-good parts. People who appreciate our whole human experience are gifts.
